Film Friday: Lego edition

After watching and enjoying Leora’s son’s cute time-traveling movie, MAG asked that I post some of his own films.

His favorite technique is stop-motion animation.

Here’s one of his earlier efforts, involving Lego:

If you can't see the video, here's the direct link.

Shabbat Shalom from the entire Our Shiputzim staff!

  1. now that's cool!

  2. Now I can see it! But everyone is still asleep here, so I'll have to remember to watch on Sat. nite.

    Shabbat Shalom.

  3. It was great! Inspiring! (my son wants to do stop motion next year; got tired of working with live actors, too many difficulties)

What did he use to shoot this? Is it lots and lots of pics put together?

(I couldn't wait until Sat. nite to watch, and my daughter woke up early for once in her life).

  4. SPYYZ - Don't forget to tell everyone that you knew him back when...

Leora - I'm glad that you were finally able to see it. According to him, he took about 500-600 pictures on our camera and then put them together on the computer. I hope to have further details in my next post.

    Luminata - Thanks.
