Management [finally] responds

No, we haven't abandoned the blog. It's just that no workers showed up today, and so there's really nothing to report.
However, we did receive the following note from our editorial board, who asked that we post it in their name. So here goes:

Dear Our Shiputzim readers,

It has come to our attention that certain regular readers have indicated that they would like this blog to continue even after all the renovations have been completed.

Needless to say, we are both honored and flattered by this request. Our readership is very important to us, and we have always tried to meet their needs.

We hope to debate this issue at any upcoming board meeting, but in the meantime, we have one question for the readers: Assuming that we do decide to extend the blog, what should we blog about? Please post your responses in the comment section of this post. As always, your input is very valuable to us.

In any event, please be aware that the renovations are likely to continue for some time. Several items have yet to be completed, including: the attic stairs, the attic door and guard rail, painting AMG and ASG's rooms, and furnishings for AMG's room.

The Our Shiputzim Editorial Board

Good night from the entire Our Shiputzim staff.

  1. one could always continue to discuss if the blog should be continued.

a recursive discussion is always useful

  2. Well, you could be like all the other bloggers out there and just blog about life, the news, the weather, etc. You, as a creative person, could think of some new angle on any of the above topics. Or, you could think of a new topic. We have faith in you. All I can say is if you continue blogging, I will continue commenting. I think that's fair. But, your blogging is a lot more interesting than my commenting. So there you are.
I do want to say in the defense of the anonymous person that he does go to those things if he doesn't have to drive through the traffic.

  3. to which of the obviously several anonymous people are you referring.

  4. a recursive discussion is always useful
Thanks, but we would prefer not to crash the system, if that's okay with you...

he does go to those things if he doesn't have to drive through the traffic
And Yerushalayim on Yom Yerushalayim doesn't qualify as "traffic"?!

    the obviously several anonymous people
I don't know that I would use the word "obviously" myself...
